It’s getting chilly out there, which is why we have launched our BRAND NEW LONG SLEEVE RETURN SHIRT, available now!! Tip instructions in the slides above. [below for web users]
The long sleeves now sport the famous phrase penned by Ghassan Kanafani: “أعصاب باردة وقلوب حارة” or “Nerves Calms But Hearts Ablaze”! This of course is also the title of the companion zine that you get with your shirt. Money raised will go in a 90/10 split towards the families we support each month and our internal Fighting Fund to support members to get out there and build by covering printing costs, venue hires, and future strike support.
We firmly believe that the pseudo-consumer act of solidarity fundraising, while necessary, is only the beginning. If you’re wearing it, you better damn well know how to talk about it. So we make sure that EVERY purchase of a Return Shirt comes with a 26-page (updated!) zine jam-packed with the history of the Right of Return and an extended excerpt of Salman Abu-Sitta’s RETURN PLAN 2023.
You should use this zine to start conversations, build power, and concretely shift your world towards Palestine solidarity–in your workplace, at your schools, in your faith institutions. That means not just condemning the current stage of the Zionist genocide, but demonstrating that decolonisation & reparations for Palestinians is a matter of historical justice and necessity.
In short: tired of haters in your community chatting shit about how full decolonisation in Palestine is impossible? Arm yourself with knowledge and GET BACK OUT THERE!
As always, we remind our friends & community that PAA HAS NO PAID STAFF and all receipts & financial transactions are posted for public scrutiny, as well as in twice-yearly reports. Also note: when we sell these shirts in person, 100% of profits go to our beneficiaries; our online sales are the only time we set aside a small fraction to support members with our internal Fighting Fund.
